Hello K1 Families,
-There is no school on Martin Luther King Day, Monday January 15th.
-All registration forms for next year are due by March 10th. After the 10th any available seats will open up to a wait list
Centers for the upcoming week:
Art Center-- After reading "A Snowy Day" students will use Puffy Paint (Shaving cream and glue) to create a snow scene from the story and add Peter, the main character.
Science Center-- Treasure from blocks of ice. Children will use squeeze bottles with warm water to melt ice cubes with treasure inside to help develop questions and language as they observe the changes.
ABC Center-- Students will match capital letters (printed on sentence strips) to the coordinating lowercase letters printed on clothespins.
Math Center-- Building Blocks--Number Race Game--Children will play a board game; rolling die, announce the number that was rolled and moving that many spaces.
